    Black Billy Hut

    This charming hut is where total solace awaits. Black Billy Hut is remote and surrounded by nature. The roaring meg fireplace will provide ample warmth. The bird song is second to none. After dark, stargazing is not to be missed.

    The Shepherd's Hut

  • Canterbury Ski Fields

    Mount Hutt may be our closest mountain at a short 20 minute drive to the access road from RockRidge, but we are also within an hour’s drive of six more majestic mountains! Mt Olympus, Craigieburn, Temple Basin, Porters Alpine Resort, Mt Cheeseman and Broken River are all incredible ski fields offering outstanding vistas and a fun environment to rip it up. Not to be missed.

  • Staveley Ice Rink

    Established in 1951 and run by volunteers, the rink is open between June and August. Enjoy the nostalgia and simplicity of an activity that everyone will enjoy. The natural ice rink surrounded by bush has a unique natural atmosphere unlike anything else. Give curling a go if you are passing through on a Friday evening.
