NIGHT ONE
The Birchview Homestead
Be charmed by The Birchview Homestead, your accommodation for night one. The Homestead welcomes our guests as friends for the night to share in the expansive home and gorgeous gardens.
Indulge yourself within this five-bedroom, five-bathroom Homestead. Take time to relax and connect with fellow guests in the sitting room over a game of cards, enjoy a cold beverage in the sun, or chat over dinner in the dining room.
The grand Homestead originally built in 1928, and fully extended in the 1980s, seamlessly blends timeless charm with functionality. Downstairs the heart of the home unfolds with a well-appointed kitchen, a formal dining room and a separate living area.
Upstairs the home boasts a spacious living room alongside two generously sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, offering serene views over the lush gardens and surrounding bush land.
Later, snuggle down for the evening with a book in one of our comfy sofas around the log burner.
And finally recharge and breathe deep, surrounding yourself in the incredible birdsong and the sound of the meandering stream within the Homestead gardens.
NIGHT TWO
Quartz Hill Quarters
Nestled at the heart of our two-day trek, the Quartz Hill Quarters stands proud—an enduring tribute to the land’s pastoral past. Once the humble shearing quarters, this newly renovated retreat now blends rustic charm with quiet comfort. If only the walls could talk.
Inside, a generous communal living and dining space invites laughter, shared meals, and tales from the trail. Outside, the experience expands: soak in the star-drenched sky from the hot tub, unwind on the veranda, or wander the grounds, surrounded by the gentle rhythm of farm life.
Quartz Hill Quarters is a sanctuary for tired legs. Let the warmth of the space melt away the day’s aches, preparing you for the next stretch of adventure.
Accommodation includes four spacious rooms, each featuring twin beds. Just 10 metres away are three separate sleep-outs, each featuring a single bed—ideal for those seeking a little extra solitude. Shared facilities include three toilets and three showers, easily accessible to all guests.
